This weekend’s packed racing schedule saw the 2023 National Cyclocross Championships take place in a number of countries.

The athletes of the Tormans Cyclo Cross Team and Team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen rode their CUBE Cross Race C:68X bikes to multiple national CX titles and podium spots.

It was the Olympiaparc in Munich that played host to the German CX Nationals where the riders from Team Heizomat p/b Kloster Kitchen took to the start line to see who would be crowned national champion. Judith Krahl proved once again that she is on excellent form with her first national title in the elite category after her titles in the U23 category. In the U23 men’s race, Hannes Degenkolb crossed the finish line as the new German champion. Fabian Eder took second place for a one-two win. As 3rd placed Jule Märkl in the junior women category and Lars Sommer in the U23 men category at the Swiss Championships secured further podium finishes for the team.

For the Tormans Cyclocross Team it was also a successful weekend with two national titles. In Mamer, Marie Schreiber replaced 12-time winner of the Luxembourg championship title Christine Majerus in the elite women’s category and secured her first title in the elite category. European Champion Lauren Molengraaf followed her teammate’s example and became Dutch junior women’s champion in Zaltbommel. Kevin Kuhn was not able to defend his title in the elite category at the Swiss Championships, but still secured a podium finish with 3rd place in the end.
