Alexander Kristoff \u00e9tait seul face \u00e0 plusieurs \u00e9quipes plus fortes en nombre et a bien g\u00e9r\u00e9 les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations, jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 ce qu&#8217;il s&#8217;attaque lui-m\u00eame aux pav\u00e9s de la Broekstraat (650m). Il abandonne rapidement ses concurrents et entame un effort solitaire de plus de 7 kilom\u00e8tres sous la pluie. En franchissant la ligne en vainqueur, le coureur norv\u00e9gien a rompu avec la tradition des &#8220;championnats du monde des sprinters&#8221; de&nbsp; dans ce Scheldeprijs.
