Apr\u00e8s les quelques jours de pluie qui ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9, le parcours, d\u00e9j\u00e0 difficile, l&#8217;a \u00e9t\u00e9 encore plus en raison des conditions boueuses. Pratiquement aucun des dix premiers coureurs n&#8217;a voulu faire un parcours sans faute. Malheureusement, Max Hartenstern a \u00e9t\u00e9 ralenti par un d\u00e9faut technique, ce qui l&#8217;a fait r\u00e9trograder \u00e0 la 34e place. En tant qu&#8217;avant-dernier partant, Danny Hart a fait une course furieuse et a pu prendre la t\u00eate \u00e0 l&#8217;arriv\u00e9e. Il n&#8217;a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 battu que par Matt Walker.
